About me

Hello, my name is Jane Summers BSc (Hons), RN, DipFH, MCFHP, MAFHP.

I am a Registered Nurse and Foot Health Professional. For many years I worked as a community nurse across Uckfield, Heathfield, Newick, and the surrounding villages, supporting people in their own homes. During this time, I saw how issues with feet, even being unable to trim toenails, could affect confidence, comfort, and independence in everyday life.

Wanting to do more in this area, I trained as a Foot Health Professional with the SMAE Institute and gained further experience within NHS podiatry services during postgraduate study. This gave me the chance to work alongside podiatrists and care for patients with a wide range of foot health needs.

My background in nursing means I bring a whole-person approach, while my foot health training ensures safe and effective treatment. I take time to listen and provide care that helps people stay active, comfortable, and confident on their feet.
